GP Children’s day ‘Sithuwamaka Apuruwa Art Competition
GP Garments thought to organize a new competition for the children of the employees and it was a new concept for the employees; ‘GP Children’s day Sithuwamaka Apuruwa’. It was held on 1st October 2021 at the company premises. The competition was held under three age groups; such as age 3-8, 9-12 and 13-18. The topic was related to the Global Pandemic Covid-19 and the paintings were on top of the creativity level. The winners were selected by the top management of GP Garments.

GP Mind star 2021
The GP Mind Star competition was started one month back and for the first round and there were 64 participants for this competition. The final round was held on 30th October 2021 at the company premises. After 10 rounds, the Mind Star Champion was awarded to Udeshika from IE Department, the winners were awarded with cash prizes. The specialty of this event was, the viewers are also participated for the competition and won prizes.

In Commemoration of late Mr. Geert Derere, the chairperson of GP Garments (Pvt) Ltd, Alms Giving Jayawiru Sewana 2021
As a tribute to our company founder late Mr. Geert Derere at the commemoration of his 8th death anniversary. An alms giving was held at Jayawiru Sewana, a care home for the mentally, physically retarded gents and drug addicted gents on 25th of October 2021. This initiative was encouraged by the Top management of the company. 27 fans were donated as a charity by the company management and they offered lunch for 150 people.
