Mind star competition
After several rounds sessions of many question sessions, 10 participants competed for GP’s Mind Star Championship. The final round was held at GP premises on 14th August 2017.

GP Vesak lantern competition 2017
Annual GP Vesak lantern competition was held at the company premises on 9th of May 2017 to celebrate the Vesak festival. There were many lanterns which were created by factory wastage and they proved the team effort and the corporation of GP family. Those are presented by different sections and judge panels appreciated the talent of the workers.
Audit team won the 1st place because of their creativity. QC section got the 2nd place and work study section achieved the 3rd place. Most creative and low cost lanterns were created by loop and Lakshman line.. All the winners received gifts for their contribution made.

New year festival 2017
GP garments organized a Sinhala and Tamil New Year competition, for the second time on 23rd April 2017 at the company premises.
It includes some traditional games like Kanamuttiya, Kottapora…etc. The most interesting game was selecting GP New Year prince and princess which were selected by a qualified judge panel. The most valuable place was the ‘Gami gedara’. It was decorated with some traditional sweetmeats like Kevum, Kokis…etc.
After the games, all the winners received the gifts and all the workers entertained themselves with the DJ music.
GP New year festival brought joyful feelings and warm wishes to all the participants.
