GP Netball tournament
On 14.07.2018, GP annual netball tournament was held at the Teejay ground with the participation of 12 teams. All the managers, Supervisors and employees were given their support to make the team complete and give advice about corporation and team work.
Dassy A team was the champion and Kalum team was runners up… GP net ball squad was selected for the year 2018/2019.

Firefighting and disaster management training.
On 14th of July, the mid-year firefighting and disaster management training was held at GP Premises . It was held under the guidance of St. John Ambulance, HQI & traffic dep. SI Avissawella police and Fire brigade. All the male workers participated for the event. It was a very interesting & valuable program and all the participants enjoyed the program.

Wesak lantern competition
Annual Wesak lantern competition of GP Garments (Pvt) Ltd, was held at the GP premises on 27th June to celebrate the Wesak festival. By providing the team effort, different sections presented many lanterns. Judge panel appreciated the creations with the usage of factory waste. All the winners received gifts for the contribution made.
